AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JANUARY 22 : The National Maritime Museum has reopened its doors after more than four years of work. Located east of the town in the district of the Oosterdok in an old warehouse dating from 1656 of the Dutch East India East, the museum has been renovated from top to bottom The inner courtyard especially designed by the Luxembourg Laurent Ney, was covered with a light steel frame, representing a compass, upon which 1200 pieces of glass. Visitors will discover five centuries of history and Dutch maritime discoveries. The Maritime Museum has one of the most prestigious collections in the world of nautical (globes, paintings, photographs, ship models, etc.). The library also modernized, contains over 60,000 books on January 22 in Amsterdam, Nertherlands.
